Place was dirty, shelfs were a mess, fish tanks were discusting. Worker hard to fine. This place has gone down hill since I regulary shopped there in the early 90's!
Very Good. I found a dog here i really liked. It was reasonably priced. The people were extremmely nice to us and seemed to take care of the dogs very well!!!!!
Quality puppies. My family purchased a maltese/poodle mix and we have never had a problem health or otherwise. Prices are reasonable and they gave us free puppy food which was very nice. Our dog is in good health 7 years later and I have been back to their stores several times to make grooming and food purchases. The stores are a little small but they have an area to visit with pups if you are interested in petting. We would definately go back again. Nice family run business.
DO NOT BUY DOGS. WHY?? would you BUY a dog?? So many dogs need a home in shelters, rescues, etc. You have problems, because you are buying overbred dogs!! What is wrong with you??? DO NOT SHOP, ADOPT idiot!!
Nice store. I purchased a dog from this store in March of 2008. I took the dog to a vet immediately after purchase and she was in very good health. (She didn't even have worms!) The store had good records regarding my dog which included the breeders name and address as well as the name and manufacturer of the vaccines and medications the puppy had been given prior to my purchase. All in all, I am happy with my puppy and very glad she is in such good health. The store advertises a one year health guarantee which appears to be free until you are ready to purchase the pet and then find out there is a fee for the guarantee. I was offered a "one year health guarantee" for about $70. The $70 fee entitles you to discounted food and other items in the store but really doesn't reimburse you for health problems, unless they are "congenital" in nature. I asked my vet about congenital defects and he said these problems usually don't show up in an animal until they are approximately 1-2 years of age. I felt that the guarantee was just a ploy to make more money and declined the offer. The only "free" guarantee you get is if you take the animal to a vet within 72 hours to be sure there is nothing wrong with it. The salesperson told me if the vet prescribed any medications to stop in the store and they could probably treat the animal much cheaper! My concern with regard to pet shops, in general, is that the dogs, cats and birds do not get enough human attention and exercise while they are awaiting new owners and this store is no exception. I would highly recommend a much larger cage for their parakeets. The day I was there to puchase my puppy, they had about 20-30 birds in one small cage with no room for them to fly around. When I questioned the staff about the small cage for so many birds, they told me that the birds sell very quickly, and the cage isn't full for very long. I think this is a very poor and unhealthy way to keep birds.
Great place to start and/or end a pet search. I own 4 dogs. In November of 2004 I purchased a 3 month old Husky female from Pets N You. We named her Racza. We were thoroughly pleased with our purchase from the selection, to the attention given to us by the staff, the lack of pressure to buy our dog or any other, the lack of pressure to purchase anything from the store other than the dog once we decided on her. When we took her to the vet for her check up, she was given a clean bill of health and my vet of many years (whom hates pet stores) actually questioned whether we purchased Racza from a pet store or not. She was very clean, no issues at all and well documented on all current vaccines. I would definitely go here again.
