Best Restaurant in South Scranton Molly's Restaurant

Renamed to Molly's Restaurant the owners have taken it in a new direction. The bar area along with the dinning rooms have been redone. The owners who took over 2 years ago spent alot of time and money making this one of if not the nicest restaurant on Scranton's South side. When you enter the building to the right are old saloon doors from the late 1800's that bring you into the bar where you can sit while waiting to be seated. The bar back alone is worth seeing all hand done sitting under one of the most impressive copper ceilings I have ever seen.But the food is what will keep you coming back again and again. The prices are great and the portions are huge. I recommend the all you can eat pasta $8.95 it was out of this world (my wife's words).So if you like places that are warm and friendly and you can speak with the owner and cook this family run restaurant is a gem. As word gets out more about this place it will be harder to get into I suggest you don't wait. Try the early bird for best seating

First Time But not the last at Molly's Cozy Corner

As a single women I was weary of entering a bar aloan. However friends would come into work on Monday and talk about this nice cozy bar they had been going too Molly's Cozy Corner. So after a fight with my boyfriend I decided to try it as they said it would be a place that a single women (35) could go alone.

I arrived and after 15 min of sitting in my car I decided to go in, What a wondeful place people were enjoying the karaoke and jokeing with the owner (from NY) I spent three hours and could not have enjoyed myself more. Oh and for you ladies it is a place you can go alone Bill the owner has a great Irish Pub. I will be back Thanks PS they were closed for food pending restaurant renvatios looks great I will be in to eat

Molly's Cozy Corner Formaly Chatterbox

Looking for a Great Place to take your wife, girlfriend or family? I highly recommend Molly's Cozy Corner on the South Side in Scranton. Being new to the area and not really knowing anyone I walked into Molly's to be welcomed as if I were an old friend. The owner who's name is Bill welcomed me in with a true Irish warmth and charm. Only planning to stop for one I found myself engulfed in the charm and warmth of the place for several hours. Bill (the owner) is a wonderful guy who talks warmly of his staff and customers as if they were all family. He loves the place community and those who take the time to stop in will leave feeling that they have truly been appreciated not only as a patron but a person. Thanks Bill, Sally, John and the every enjoyable Dee
