Excellent Lunch Buffett. I frequently go to Oyster for their lunch buffet. The buffet is a great deal for $7.95 and that price includes the buffet, fresh hot bread, a fresh salad bar, and your choice of soda/tea/coffee. The buffet menu changes daily. They offer two soups and about 5 choices of food. The quality of the food is superb. The vegetable medley always tastes fresh and the vegetables and nice and crisp. The selection of food is delightful. They have served panko crusted tilapia, meatloaf, honey roast pork, flank steak, chicken francaise, stuffed shells, and so much more. The soups have ranged from french onion to tomato soup and even a swordfish soup. The waiting staff is attentive and is always quick to refill your drink and to take away your plate when you are finished. They are also friendly and treat each patron well. The buffet currently runs from 11:30-2 PM Monday through Friday. Oyster's buffet is probably the best lunch buffet that Wilkes-Barre has to offer.

Simply Amazing. I went to Oyster on a date last week. We both ordered drinks off of their martini menu, I got a Ogasm which was their strawberry martini. It was great. Then we went to the dining room for dinner. They had a surf and turf special for $30. It was so much food and just great. My date got the sesame tuna, and could only say great things about it. I will defiantly be back to Oyster. It was a great date night!

Great service but unsatisfactory food. I dined at The Oyster for Valentine's Day. The place was gorgeously decorated and they handed each lady a rose. I liked my waitress and the service but the food did not live up to my expectations. I have never eaten actual oysters before but when I ordered the oyster appetizer, it didn't taste good. It didn't have much of a taste except that I was eating squishy little creatures. The encrusted Japanese Chicken Milanese was not good either. It had more dry crust than chicken and I didn't like the sweet chili sauce because it was too spicy. The guy I was with ordered a salad and they gave him a half a head of lettuce with dressing! His asparagus was also bland and plain. Based on the poor quality of the food, I would not dine there again.
